3:02 Newsreel. The war in Vietnam has become a war on two fronts – the Viet Cong communists and the Buddhist majority revolt. The United States continues to send “Advisers” to Vietnam to help. U.S. helicopters are the work horses of battle. The Viet Cong moved into a local village as helicopters bring in U.S. and South Vietnamese troops to clear the village. A U.S helicopter is down as Viet Cong snipers take shots at troops. Another “hit and run raid” by the communists shows a village burning.
